D&AD DCM - Ident

As me and Martin have decided to do a YCN brief I am going to quickly work a D&AD. Last year me and Martin collaborated on the D&AD brief instead of the YCN. I have chosen the Digital Cinema Media brief which consists of creating a 25 second Ident to be featured at the start and end of a cinema showing.

Why did I pick the DCM brief?
This year I have been particularly interested in animation specifically in relation to film. I have created two short films for previous briefs one for COP3 and one for Ryan Smiths personal branding. I feel this brief could be exciting while at the same time challenging. I think it will also help inform my practice and help me understand if moving image and the film industry is something I should pursue.

Audience
One of the big advantages f the brief is that the audience is already defined which removes the element of audience research. I am also interested in film so I feel I have an informed approach which will allow me to make a quick start. 

Deadline
The deadline for the brief is the 19th of March which doesn't leave me a massive amount of time, but honestly I think this is a realistic time frame to get the work completed.
